Who we are

The serigraphy project Ammostro was born in 2014 with the aim of creating hands-on workshops for social development.

We’re a leather and textile worker (Claudia), three goldsmiths (Carla, Roberta, Candida), a graphic designer (Silvia) and a costume designer (Maria):

ours is an all-women team eager to combine each other’s manufacturing skills.

The logo recalls an apotropaic monster, which is supposed to avert evil inuences, overlooking the portal of an ancient building in the Old Town of Taranto, and draws on the local historical memory.
